The Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC), the BC Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Secretariat and 2010 Legacies Now have partnered to create the 2010 Speakers Bureau. This bureau will help connect communities with dynamic speakers to share the opportunities the 2010 Winter Games provide. Working with communities towards 2010, speakers can highlight plans and preparations for the Winter Games; connect businesses to Games-related resources and business opportunities; identify partnership possibilities for athletic and artistic initiatives; assist with developing stronger volunteer and educational programs; and raise awareness about the Olympic and Paralympic Movements.
